KEY FEATURES
Uncompromising Optics
With a fully stereoscopic apochromatic optical system, minute detail and sharp focus is assured. A 5-step magnification changer delivers 4x, 6x, 10x and 25x magnification. Wide field eyepieces and excellent depth of field makes orientation easy. Fine focus is via a knob on the objective lens, which has a focal length of 250mm. Other objectives are available.
Ergonomic Positioning
The PRIMA allows you to perform long intricate procedures with comfort and ease. Correct posture is important to your future ability to work. You can now sit up and look forward instead of hunching over. The most important feature is the Ergo adjustable binocular, which enables viewing angles of 0-210°. An optional extra is the rotating coupling plate, this adds another dimension of movement. Even the handles are adjustable, with sterilisable covers.
Powerful, Cool LED Illumination
High intensity, colour correct and low temperature light is generated by the PRIMA LED system. The lightsource is neatly integrated in the horizontal arm, with a fibre optic cable delivering illumination through the optics for coaxial precision. The LED is energy efficient and maintenance free, so you never have to change globes. What’s more, the LED does not cure your filling materials, making the microscope very versatile for general dentistry.
Rock Solid Positioning
The PRIMA suspension arm system provides fluid movement for fast focusing. Each joint has friction brakes so the microscope can be totally immobilised.
High Definition Image Capture
Both digital photos and video can be highly beneficial. Stream live video to a monitor so your assistant is ready for your next move. With Prima it is easy to record your procedures in digital format. We have two options, both supplied with a beam splitter and photo adaptor.
- The Sony NEX5 Digital Camera. 14 megapixel still images, 1080 pixel High Definition Video Capture, with HDMI output for live streaming.
- The SONY Handycam for compact HD video.
Monitors can be mounted direct to the floor stand or to a remote wall/ceiling bracket.
