Sunshine Coast University Hospital

When the Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH) opened in April 2017 it helped revolutionise healthcare on the Coast, offering a range of free public hospital services.

The public hospital was built as part of the 20-hectare Sunshine Coast Health Campus that will incorporate the hospital’s Sunshine Coast Health Institute (SCHI), the collocated Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital and opportunities for health-related commercial developments.
